Evening all, Just completing paperwork for an EICR. Old 1950's style house with wiring under the floorboards back to consumer unit and meter sited in understairs cupboard (so tight I had to go in sideways and headfirst!). Anyway the main floorboard where all the grey twin and earth comes up from the floor is missing and the cables just float straight up, behind the board the consumer unit is mounted on and into the CU.
With the floorboard down (wherever it's gone!) it wont look too bad but to my mind when the cupboard is full of prams and clutter it is not the best arrangement and the cables would be better off boxed in.
Have looked in the bgb but am not too sure (am thinking 522.6.1), any thoughts please?
