coding?????

hi there i have come across today i ring circuit that twin and earth, however the cpc had been cut out at the fuseboard and at the socket the same. there was earthing from the socket to the metal back box. what code is given here?

1 im guessing???

definitely a code 2,even perhaps a code 1 if there seems to be a immediate danger. sounds like RCD has been tripping and the DIY solution was to snip the cpc.

Yes, it is technically a Code 2 but a rather nasty one at that!

I'd be leaving them something in writing explaining the danger!
