gus I don't see the pic's mate.

I did the 2330 couple of years back lvl 2 & 3 but not done the NVQ or the AM2, I've done the 17th & I'm working on the 2391 atm after getting some experience under my belt, I'm also registered with Elecsa for the Part P scheme.

Keep at it and get with an employer asap, preferably one that will let u do the 3 day a week course if thats wat your on. spend as much time asking questions & with your nose in books relevent to the 2330 course.

don't just learn the answers, understand them.

Jon.

oh the pics come up now rofl dono why they didn't

very nice mate, be proud of your work, learn from your mistakes and be willing to listen to the tutors :D

Cheers jjjink

the course is 2 days a week (thursday and friday), currently working nights and attending college on my days off! looking for an employer but most say they just dont have the work at the moment to take me on and I cant afford to work for free:(

r lass gets annoyed sometimes when i get home and start tellin her what we've learnt! This forum seems a good place for knowledge

I'm looking to go the same route u have

gus

your probably a lot younger than i was 36-37 when i went to college and I ended up working for a guy for free for 3 months+ to kind of earn my place. But I had benefits coming in and I am a single dad so I was covered (job centre new I was working for free).

I work 22 hours a week now, usually more but when the work dips I still get paid cos it balances out the times I worked more hours.

My oldest son started this October and hopefully by the time he leaves college I'll have a small business up and running. I'm begining to take on work now.

It's always good to read about the guys who are making a go of training up as a spark. I'm 36 now myself, but I've been in the game since age 16, I couldn't even begin to think how I would get on if I was just starting what I did 20 years ago. i really take my hat off to you. My advice is take your time and don't ever be afraid to ask questions. The things I was learning 20 years ago are new knowledge to you guys and I always offer advice to anybody willing to listen and learn.

Oh, and the other thing is, it's always been handy to have a trade that can pay cash in hand occasionally!
