Hi every one i was wo wondering if any one could suggest a good but cheap insulation resistance / continuity tester That conforms to 17 edition / gs38 standards i dont want to use it on site i just want to use it to practice in my own time thats why i do not want to pay a small fortune for one any suggestions would be very much appreciated

Ebygumbay is you friend, I got a kewtec 17th edition multi fuction for ÂŁ200. As most of the tester start at about ÂŁ400 I don't think you will get a working decent one for much less. You never know a charitable person on the forum might help you out:19:

The 1552, which I also own, does not predate GS38. You have nothing to worry about.
