Hi Been looking to upgrade a downstairs flat, usual bonding, smokes, twin rcd,s etc.In the bathroom is an existing combi boiler within 600mm of the bath.ie,you can stand in the bath and easily touch. The isolating sw fused spur is directlly under the boiler, but boxed in with pipework.I belive B Gas happily service this on their contract. What do others think of situation in veiw to certification.Thanks.

thats unfortunate...

the boiler may be classed as IP44 ( splashproof ) but unlikely...so in theory its too close to the bath. Either box in completely? or re-site?

it would fail any electrical periodic inspection for that reason.
