Hello all, I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I will share what I have. I'm going to be installing a heater in my garage (see title) My plan is to run some 8/2 wire from the electrical panel in my basement through the floor boards and into my garage. I will install a disconnect box just below heater in garage and then use some flex conduit to run the wire to the back of the heater.

It looks like the heater pulls about 32.5 amps running on its highest setting so I'm thinking a 40 amp breaker for my panel should be sufficient.

Does everything sound like I'm setting this up right? Am I missing something?

Yeah we are 110v. 8/2 wire is just 8AWG with a positive, negative and ground.

Well that's amazing, if this guy is American even more so if he works within the electrical industry, because the standard nominal voltage for domestic supplies throughout the USA is the 3 wire single phase 120/240V . 110V hasn't been seen as a public supply voltage in the States for at least a couple or more decades now!!!
