Hi all

Can you wire Flex in a fuse board? So no FP200 or Singles or T&E?

I dont think it seys you cant in regs but im thinking just down to good practice.. Bit of a debat at work

As said, aslong astern images correctly and correct CCC. It's fine.

I personally use a lot of YY etc flexes for my commercial and industrial 3ph stuff (mainly for fans and 3ph outlets in commercial kitchens)

You can wire any type of cable you want into a fuse board as longs as its suitable for the enviroment and installed correctly.

Yeah suppose so. Never thought of that.

You would be fitting ferrules to those cables before terminating.

if i remember properly reg 521.9 refers to the use if flexible cables in fixed wiring
