just done an inspection and testing certificate for a commercial kitchen i have installed.
install included new consumer unit, new ring main, new boiler circuit, 2 x cooker circuits. the orginal installation has 3 radials and a lighting circuit.
i have tested all the new circuits which i have installed as prescribed in the regs. now with the original circuits i have only tested the insulation resistance of the circuits, they all checked out good, and i tested them to make sure they would trip the RCD, is this enough or do i have to test them as i have the others.
the reason i have only tested the original circuits this way is because im sure i have read that this would be acceptable, not 100% sure so thought i would ask.
ive not handed the cert in yet just so i could double check this.
cheers Dave
