Hi gang, i am sure i know the answer but can someone confirm that part p is just for domestic installations and that it has nothing to do with commercial installations. ie the certification for a pir does not require to be registered with anyone, only the customer??

part p is domestic only. non domestic pir different ball game no need to register just 2391

i stand corrected, fair enough. its just a better way of proving that competancy. might make you more employable than the next man

Absolutely correct. It is, of course, a great way of proving competency should that ever be brought into question. And as you say, does no harm for employability.
