Hi everyone,

I have a customer who wants rough pricing on a potentially very large commercial system. I am thinking the best way to provide a rough estimate is just to base the (rough) cost of the job on the return on investment expected. Although i haven't installed any large systems yet so i'm a little unexperienced with the pricing. What sort of Return on investment can a company expect on a large commercial install for example 50kW?

Thanks,
Ryan.

Hmmm, Sorry, but i feel you will have to work that one out.
You will need to cost the job out, check for any extras, beware they are somewhat larger than domestic installs, structural surveys, planning, asbestos checks/costs, G59 application, scaffold and netting if required, oh and the list goes on.
Also the job can fall down because of any of the above, so you may spend time and money for nothing.
Due to all the costs a commercial system may occur, to calculate a ROI you could be miles out.
I hope this helps.
