hi guys,
after some advice please. just doing my first commercial quote, want to get it right...........
49.92kwp suntech 240.
whats inverters should i be looking at ?
appreciate any advice :lightbulb:

Big Ring, I don't want to sound unhelpful but if you're lookking at a 49.92kWp system and you're struggling with the inverter choices then you may be biting off more than you can chew for now. 49.92kWp system comes under G59 rules and you will most likely require relays and DNO approval.

If you're not over confident then try Sunny Design software to get a good match for inverters for the system.

thanks biggssolar , got to start somewhere :28:, thanks for the advice.
im not fitting the system , but want to advance in the industry as best as i can

G83 covers up to 16a per phase, the best thing to do is select the inverter that you want to use (and as suggested i would look at the sunny design software then talk to your DNO see what they say, some will allow a slightly larger current with G83?

It's MCS that goes up to 50kWp and beyond that it was ROO-FIT (well still is, but they're all looking for jobs after 1st August )

thanks for the advice pv martin.:smiley2:

Three phase inverters, I have used SMA Tripower and PowerOne in the past. Your supplier should offer some help withh the system design when you buy from them.
