Hi all, I recently read a discussion in a different forum which was done about 2009 regarding the big 3 CPS I.e Nic, Napit and stroma.
Some were been praised to high heaven, while others were shredded to pieces to burning hell.
*I am wondering how and where this bodies are rated now after 10yrs down the road?
*Who do you use or who will you choose or recommend to a newcomer among all the existing CPS and why?

Hi Wilko,
Forgive me if I’m not so educated on part P as a company we do not do any domestic work so not a thing for me.
How ever if you have a look at the download pdf it highlights all the ECA benefits one of these is about PartP discounts. Also as. ECA member you get free JIB membership, discounted ECS Cards etc.
I am with the ECA Director of Technical later today and can find out for you ?.

We're ECA members and notify through Elecsa. I believe ECA acquired Elecsa a few years ago. One of the main reasons we stay with them are the competitive private healthcare premiums. The policy also ignores pre existing conditions which has been helpful!

Now there is some sort of tie up between ECA,Elecsa,Nic under the Certsure umbrella, but I'm not sure who bought out who, or if it was a merger.

Not sure they missed the boat, the ECA own both NICEIC and Elecsa prob more like a conflict of interest. CEO is a very switched on guy if you pardon the pun.

ECA has 3000 'members' ish, compared to its siblings? CEO's , shareholders, creditors. All a bit of corporate money making cauldron.
One day, power to the sparks people. :)

Elecsa was the electrical certification arm of the Glass and Glazing Federation. The ECA acquired this in 2007/8 when the GGA decided to streamline and thus gave the ECA a door into Part P.
