competitive supplier for MK fittings

Hi chaps i have client who is self managing a build he is looking at his electrical fittings and wants them to match the lighting control system uses MK aspect plates anyone know anywhere that does a good price on MK aspect the sparks on the job are doing as a "foreigner" and he has sourced all the cable etc to their spec (not sure where from) There is a CEF and denmans local probably a few others.

Any ideas appreciated it will be one big order as opposed to an account.

Newey And Ayre or Edmunson normally do a good range of MK at reasonable prices.

When pricing a larger job I always put together a spreadsheet listing the materials and quantities. then email it to the suppliers

so that way they are doing the legwork for you

white shouldn't be a problem, it's just when I ordered the edge stuff in antique bronze the lead time was 3 to 4 weeks, If I had known what a pain it was I would have over ordered on basic things like double sockets, single gang switches etc as a contingency for the possibility of extra works being asked for. It can be a long agonizing wait for parts to come in so you can fit them and get the final payment. I would advise your customer to maybe over order slightly might be in your best interest.cheers

Thanks Chaps as I am not supplying the fittings if necassary I'll fit standard whites for my bits and get paid and leave him to wait for the others, just trying to help him out as other contractors have not been brilliant, me and the kitchen fitter are going to try and sortwhat we can out to be nice.
