I have had to wait over 3 months for EDF to register my PV system and so it will apparently be 6 months after installation before I can submit a reading and up to 9 months before I get my first payment.
There were no problems or errors with my application form though they claim they have been swamped with new applications subsequently. At the time I sent it they said they would be asking for a reading after 3 months and I believe that, had I not contacted them to ask what was happening, I still would not be registered now.
It seems to be that it's in the interest of EDF to delay the process, and hence having to pay out, as much as possible. Is there a maxmium time limit before Ofgem will consider a complaint?
