Hi Guys, I have just installed two new circuits on a submain (outside lights and power)

When filling in the certificates should I include two schedules of test results. ie one for the supply back to the house and one for the two new circuits?

Thanks for looking

No, you've installed 3 ccts
1. dc to mini board, 2. power from mini board, 3. lights from mini board.
Just list them on one line each on one schedule. Simples.

Thanks for all the quick replies :) I didnt personally install the supply to the sub main, just the two new circuits. Does that change much?

Who did? and are you happy to certify the submain? NIC domestic installation certs now have a column at top of schedule for the supply cable

The supply to the submain was done about 10 years ago. It supplies another DB in the office and i have come off of that with my two new circuits. I am happy to certify it yes. I have tested the whole install all the way back to the main fuse to make sure it was all ok, so I thought why not record it in my results

Id just certify work carried out and comment that no certificate is present for existing installation, to be safe

I wouldn't bother commenting on the lack of certificate for the existing stuff. When testing it is already confirmed that the supply you are taking your new circuits from is safe. The box marked 'extent of the installation cover by this certificate' is the only bit you need to worry about but always be specific about the work you have carried out. Atleast then if something goes wrong it is clearly shown in black and white which bit of the installation you have altered/installed.
