Hi guys just after some advice and information please

I am in the NICEIC as a domestic installer

I don't have 2391 but am looking to do condition reports out side of the NICEIC scope using kewtech certificate

And to do commercial work using kewtech certificates

I have been doing condition reports for years at the old company I was employed and am confident in doing so

I have hear I may need indemnity insurance as well as my public liability

Does any one else do this or no what indemnity insurance is for?

Thanks guys

I mate, i got my insurance throughthe niceic and indemnity come with the public liability. Itsjust to cover you for the advice you give. Check to see if youve already got it. I didnt know mine come with it

they say that because to do eicr's through them, you need to pay them. greedy bar stewards. in fact you don't even need to be in niceic or any other scam to do eicr's.

that's the only ******in the woodpile. if they want a niceic one , then you're buggered, unless you can get them to accept a non-niceic cert. it's usually councils and large organisations that demand nic,

Thanks I will check. Any one have any advice on if what I'm going to do is allowed? Or other ways around it?
is what allowed?
you meen carrying out ECR`s?...
who says it isn`t allowed?...NIC tell you this?
if they did then tell em to f**k off.....
if you are competent to carry out ECRs...then you carry out ECRs.....
never mind what anyone (or anything) else says....
and you dont need the 2391 either to carry out inspection & testing and condition reporting...
i`m getting sick of this with these scheme providers...
