I know this is enticing a 2000 word essay from Carter but i cant resist.

Why is it that Peter Mandelson can defraud his mortgage company and be forced to resign then after a few months holiday, get another job in government where he uses his influence to speed up a passport application and be forced to resign again. His punishment, a cushy job in Brussels for a few years.

Then to cap it all, Feck me with a big pointy stick, he has been brought back into government again.

Just cant get my head round it:confused::confused:

Jobs for the boys I think its called.
No doubt in the future it'll come to light he's one of these emp's that's been on the take.

it's a secret society thing ,lift your trouser leg ,shake hands... except it's we the tax paying "middle class"(for that read cash cow ) that are expected to"drop our trousers" bend over and take one for england up the BROWN hole

Unfortunately this type of thing does not stop at government. I can never understand how someone heading up a major bank or company can run the business at phenominal losses and resign with a massive "golden handshake". Then they get another highly paid position as a consultant!!!!

If I cock up I get the sack FULL STOP!!!!!

I would not say that to Peter Mandelson, you might get more than you bargained for:eek::eek:

OK here's the deal. Brown has to get the Blairite/Primrose Hill gang on side if he has any chance of keeping his snout in the trough. In his "government of all the talents" he is finding himself desperately short of it. Mandy may be a repulsive treasonous f*cking invertebrate c0ck jockey but he is politically as sharp as a scalpel and Brown needs him therefore all principle is to be cast to the wind.

There is also an urgent requirement, along with intense behind the scenes pressure from Europe, to get the EU Consitution (sorry Lisbon Treaty) ratified and the de facto unification of Europe back on track before the whole sorry mess collapses totally which given the trillions it has cost them/us so far, CANNOT be allowed to lapse now that they are so close. Ah the irony, Hitler's wet dream finally enacted by a 'socialist' state. Sarkozy and Merkel are mightily relieved to know that they now have 'their man' (and he surely is) inside the UK government and in such a fundamental position of influence to advance the EU cause of "ever closer union". I'd forget any hope of that referendum chaps.

Our Local MP bunged Mandy the big wedge to buy Mandy's ÂŁ475,00 Notting Hill shag pad for him and his Brazilian bum chum and didn't even get an invite to the house warming lol got them both sacked though.:D There are rumours that the former paymaster general has photos of several 'fragrant' cabinet members which act as his 'insurance' policy. This may also resurrect the old associations with the corpse of the fat crook Maxwell that everybody's forgotten about. Carter hasn't! This from July 2007 might enlighten.

Mandelson to be made a lord - Times Online

A friend of Mandelson said: “It will be like an honorary title and he won’t get involved in the day-to-day workings of the House of Lords. He wouldn’t want to anyway. But I’d expect him to make an appearance when things get spicy. I don’t doubt it will be controversial.”

So he won't be getting involved in day to day affairs, ....riiiight! that would be what's known as a bare-faced pile of b011ocks where I come from.

How many words was that?

I think it is called WRONG. Any other person in any private company would of been sacked or prosecuted.:mad:

And if his big mate Bliar hadn't dicked about with the Treason Act he'd be swinging at a rope's end for "treason within and without the realm"!

Carter? Eloquently put BUT, when I read your posts, it depresses me.

Is it all really so bad? Is Britain well and truly fuc*ed?

See, this is why I choose to bury my head in the sand.

Ignorance is bliss.

Bane surely you know we live in a ****hole of a country? Overtaxed, underpaid and overworked. The good old British way. What's worse is the stupidity Brits demonstrate by simply rolling over and taking one in the brown all day long.

Chap in all honesty I have to say that unless a good many people start to remember who calls the shots in OUR Parliament (we do) then we are most comprehensively finished as an independant nation. May as well trot along to be tagged and bagged now 'cause the window of opportunity is closing fast. Depends how angry you are I suppose and as I think you can gather I have had enough and am incandescent at how we have been treated and at how the British have ALLOWED themselves to be treated. Have we any pride in ourselves left I wonder?

As proof of this I nipped down to the village shop for some parso's to go with the lamb (we're a bit trad) I see that the papers are now heralding the return of this malevolent creature...WARNING GETS A BIT SWEARY!

cactus and son episode three "cactus & Blunkett"

God spare us from this un reconstructed communist and totalitarian bag of sh!te. i thought things were looking up when they announced the departure of that grossly over promoted sky pilot Ruth Kelly but of course it was ever a false hope, that's government all over isn't it? always Winter but never Christmas!
