Just came across this on another electrician's website. Offering full periodic in a domestic property "from ÂŁ120 (inc VAT)" and takes half a day. Ha ha.
*Remember* To check that the Electrical company/engineer is approved, NICEIC registered and that they use Red 6 page written NICEIC certificates
What a load of old tosh. Putting aside any NAPIT vs NICEIC vs ELECSA old chestnut debate, what kind of message does this give to customers? What if the customer is getting three quotes and the other two were from NAPIT and ELECSA members giving the same message but using their scheme names? The customer is not going to understand what is going on.
Electricians should not use competent person scheme names in a "must do" type message to customers. It's leaving the customer with confusion and uncertainty and damaging our reputation as a professional industry.
