Connecting led floodlight from new bathroom extension light wiring

Hi need a bit of help. I connected my floodlight to the existing wiring. I used the blue and brown wire and it worked for like 5 seconds and the floodlight just went off. The floodlight had a yellow wire i didnt connect that because the bathroom wiring is a twin 1.5mm and only blue and brown from there was connected. There is a 13a switch for the bathroom so you can use the light in bathroom. And in the bathroom there is a switch for the bathroom light

You need to get that cock up sorted quickly MAAZ before your place goes up in flames or someone get shocked, get an Electrician in to sort it for you.

What we can see from the few photos Maaz suggests quite a few regulations already broken,the attempt to connect this fitting may be making matters worse

There is danger associated with electrical safety breaches and it would be wise to find a electrician to do this work,maybe also to take a look at your existing installation

What if i tell the sparky to put a pull switch is that safe or still dangerous. Cos we just got a new kitchen fitted . No space to put it in kitchen

Like you,I have a wall mounted switch in my Bathroom, in that environment its convenient but less safe than a pull cord operated switch, so for now its staying where it is

There are regulations that are not met in the majority of households and likely may never cause harm

There are also regulations that are not implemented that can cause very serious danger to persons and property,the omission of a earth protective conductor where required being one of them (your efforts seem to fall into this category)
