Hi guys,

Been doing a kitchen install as I mentioned a few weeks back.

Oven circuit is run in 6mm T+E to a standard DP cooker switch and then in the same again to a flex outlet plate below.

Stupidly I'd forgotten that the integrated hob directly above needs a live feed for the ignition!

Can I run both flexes from the outlet plate? (with difficulty I assume)

can you not fit a dual outlet backbox, cooker outlet 1 side, FCU on the other? link from cooker outlet to FCU in 6mm. it's not difficult to get 3 x 6mm in the terminals.

Thats how I do electric ovens and gas combinations. With the right outlet it's a piece of cake. Mind you I would be quite happy to use 2.5 from the outlet to the spur.

As I understood, I can run the link to the ignition in 2.5mm (or smaller), as it's less than 3m (in reality, less than 30cm)

I'll take a look online for dual outlet plates.
