I am thinking of installing a steam cabin which requires a 16 amp supply.
Power connection, Inside my airing cupboard, where once was installed the HW cylinder there is the old power outlet, the 4 mm wire comes from the consumer unit with a dedicated 16 amp MCB.
Can it be increased to a least 20 amps?
Can there be installed an insulated consumer unit like Mk sentry 4 way with the requested 16amp RCBO, 10 or 16 amps RCBO for a loft socket, and a 6amp RCBO for a light line.
Any comment to this project will be highly appreciated.
Thank you

The only thing is if the supply is 4mm^ T+E and is buried in a stud wall to method 103 then your max current carrying capacity is only 17.5 amps so check that.

Can I ask why your are wanting to fit a 4 way board to 20amp (if possible) supply. It's not a good design having the 16amp steam cabinet, then a 13amp socket and a light on just a 20amp supply. But as the socket and the lights are in a loft you might get away with it.
