MK produce left side switches whereas others are predominantly right side however MK stopped producing consumer units but are still available under licence from a producer in China, why do you ask.

As above the Crabtree "starbreaker" seem to fit your bill and is decent enough gear.

What are you actually replacing? If it is a "modern" CU then probably not much of a space issue, but if it is one of the old Wylex style of rewirable fuse boxes then nothing made today is as compact.

If you care to post a photo or two of the current setup folks might have more advice. Redact any readable personal information on stickers, etc, first though.

I'm pretty sure the old Wylex ones had the switches on the right?

As much as everyone hates them, I've found the BG RCBO boards are the closest in size to the old Wylex ones. They have a 9 module one that is about the same width as the 6 way Wylex and requires an inch or so more in height.

OP: What is driving the need to have the main switch on the left? If it's the length of the meter tails, you could replace them (assuming you are competent to do so, but if you're changing a board you certainly should be).
