Consumer Unit & Tails help for newbee please

Hi Guys,

I'm undertaking my first consumer unit change in a couple of weeks and as such I've got british Gas coming out to fit an Isolator and 25mm tails. My simple question(for you not me) is British Gas will fit the meter tails but how do I fit the new tails to the DB as the where the tails exit the meter its sealed with a wire tag? do I provide them with new 25mm tails to fit at the same time to go to the DB and then I connect it at the DB? sorry for the silly question

You'll be able to connect your tails into the isolator they install.

the isolator will have two sets of terminals, one at top and one at bottom, the dno will wire into one side and seal, the other side is accessible (make sure you switch it off first)
