Hi,
I recently bought a Contactum 8 way split load board. I paid ÂŁ63.50 plus vat including the breakers. It was easy enough to mount / wire into. And as the breakers are colour coded depending on the ampage, its easy for the customer / electrician to identify in case of any problem.

Best regards,
Sav

Yeah, I know what you mean. But its good value for money and once fitted its out of the way.Your customer is happy and your pocket even more happy.Apart from Contactum, I use Hager, as I must admit I do have a preference for them, and I advise the customer of both prices accordingly. They just want the cheapest 9 out of 10 times, but we too want an electrician friendly c/unit, thats easy to connect and reliable.regards,Sav

Crabtree is a good board but being plug in everythings they aren't adaptable
Wylex used to be my favourite until their mcbs became crap, they used to strip 6the threads with any decent force,so gave up on them
The chinese cheapies are getting better by making MK and crabtree and wylex watch their prices

yeah i just got some chint gear!! fitted them as standard when i worked for homeserve as wholesaler company used was only stocking them..!!

i like them a bit as all the neutrals are solid and no silly flexy wiring inside (cant adapt though) at 45.99+vat plus 6free mcbs cant go wrong!!

do like hager, feels good quality and looks the part..! i like the clear strip on front of mcb! detail i like it!!
