CLEARWAY

Hi , please can I ask your advice. I have searched everywhere for an answer and am confused.
Pin short I have bought a 5 Kva generator to power a 3300watt vacuum and I need to know how to connect the generator which is fitted with a regulator to a standard three pin socket into which I can plug the vacuum.the generator has 240 v , 32 amp socket. How do I make the connection safely , What connector type do I need that plugs into the generator , then cable size ,then whatstandard three pin plug receiver at the other end.
Please excuse my ignorance amongst you all .
any help appreciated
thanks
anthony

Hi fella, presumably, the vacuum has a blue, round "plug" attached? If this is the 32A plug you describe,it will require swapping for a smaller,16A plug.

Your generator, should have a corresponding 16A mounted socket,on a unit of that size.

If we are talking about one of our Chinese allies base model examples...buy a fire extinguisher before anything else...:goofy:
