I need to replace a bit of a mess of a DOL starter / overload / pressure switch system on an old 7.5HP compressor with something new that works! Many thanks due to Tony who's pointed me on the right path, it's occurred to me that as there are lots of compressors in the world, there might also be someone who makes controls specifically for this purpose and save me the bother of fabrication at a time when I can barely pause to wipe my arse. Anyone know? I've looked around on the web without much success.

I'm guessing it's an air compressor (not refrigeration).

Is it a mobile compressor? Can't you just use a standard wall mounted DOL starter and wire the pressure switch into it as an auxilliary stop/start?

That's exactly what I need to do but also incorporate a remote ES button as they're going to be in two different parts of a building - hence just wondering if someone made a box to go kind of affair. It really IS just me being unusually lazy as I want to try to squeeze the job in this week and haven't much time to do it.

Have a look at some of the Telemecanique range of DOL’s. You can add Kilpon terminals to many of them to give you somewhere to juggle your control wiring about.
