Cooker connection box

Hi,

Connected a electric free standing cooker earlier but the black connection box the cover doesnt shut tight it looks like something has broken of so it doesnt click into place,

I am wanting to know the best way to hold the cover shut, wondered if anyone else have experienced this and has a good solution thanks.

ive never broke 1, so.. just stick bit of superglue on to hold it place... or ...or

Oh but I am, with less experience as most as only just come out of my time and mostly work in industrial/commercial,

Was he being serious about superglue as I was going to try that tomorrow.

take it back, say it was like that

If its the cover on the oven itself use araldite as temporary fix then order a new cover from manufacturer, if its the cover on a junction box replace it, and if its the outlet plate in the wall replace it.

Yes where it clicks into place there is nothing for the cover to lock itself into will try some plastic glue/superglue tomorrow.
