had a call yesterday morning, fella said he had connected his new range cooker up and the wiring had started melting

seen it all now, 7.7kW range cooker with a 1.5mm flex coming out of it with a plug on the end which was connected into the plug on the cooker isolation switch :p

love easy jobs like that, even got a tip ;)

haha
did he source the 1.5mm and fit it..??

gotta ask yourself, when he picked it off the shelf from all the heavier cable, at which point did he ask himself if it was big enough... ?
Or perhaps it was just spare and laying around the garage..!!
