cooker hood

i went to a job and somebody wants a cooker hood plugged in. theres a switched fused spur about the cupboards but its fed in 6mm the cooker hood has fixed plug in it so i was thinking should i just come out that in 2.5 bang a socket there and stick a 13a fuse in there ?

cut the plug off. fuse the SFCU at 3A.

hmmm could do but if i wanted to keep the plug on then that would be fine wouldnt it ?

nothing wrong with replacing the FCU with a single socket either

Hi,

you could connect After the existing Fcu in 1.5mm T&E to a single socket if you wish. See App 15 fig. 15b(BGB) for an example, and 434.2.1
