Hi,

Need a bit of advise if someone could help please.. Cooker stopped working the other day so i bought a new one. Installed it as normal but when i turn the power on it beeps and switches off.. thought i may have wired it wrong but how can you go wrong with just three wires. Ok, checked the fuse in the fuse box and ithinks its a rcd. It didnt trip??? Turned it off and then back on and it made this crackling noise which im sure aint good but didnt trip again. It has a test button above it and i thought id see if this trips it but nothing happend. all the other rcds trip fine with the test but why not this one?? Is my cooker at fault or does this fuse sipmly need changing.

as above. post your location. see if 1 of us is close. it's no use guessing else it won't be the dinner that gets fried, it could be you.
