Cooker point above cooker!

Been to a job to wire for a new shower & also a board change. Noticed position of cooker switch & told the resident of the need to move it. Its 450mm above cooker to the right hand side. No space to move it anywhere else. They don't understand that it doesn't comply?? What shall i do???????????

Just note it on the cert for the CU change.

You cant force them to have it done.

Regs say as long as the install is no worse than when you started its ok. Good to note it on the cert though. Lots of older places had the switch directly above the cooker.
