Cooker scorch zone, help required??

Does anybody know the official measurement for accessories to be at least away from the cooker zone/space, some say 300mm, others say 150mm, cant find the answer ANYWHERE........all answers muchly appreiciated))

The only measurement I can remember is in the Electricians Guide to the Building regulations where it shows 300mm

God, could you imagine the aggrevation? People struggle with adding and subtracting using decimalisation, let along the "old" money!!
