Just been watching a few car reviews, including the Polestar 2 and Tesla 3. My view, simplistic though it is, is that if you need lane-assist to keep you in-lane on a motorway, and 360 degree cameras to help you park, you shouldn't be driving...

I think the cameras are useful. Especially for spotting things like dogs, children, short bollards etc. The pillars of modern cars can make things difficult to see sometimes.

Agree on the lane assist though!
 
Admit that since getting Arthritis in most of my joints, including the neck the cameras are what I use most when moving anyway but forwards.
