Hi,

Having a system fiited soon and have been quoted for a 3.50Kw system they will fit a Sunnyboy 3000HF invertor. I was wondering if this will be big enough or is there a percentage loss from what the panel generates to what type of invertor is needed. TIA

Its a good efficient inverter , if you have any shading issues or your roof east or west facing or based in scotland you may not loose anything at all on the genetation side go to solarguide.co.uk put in your variables it will give you monthly generation forcast

depending on location and orientation yes , dont fit inverters to system size we fit them to production at location if you want a danfoss 3.6 kw inverter I can let your supplier have one at ÂŁ1050 plus vat ( he will have to pay the 20% and reclaim the diference unless your vat registered in which case get in touch ) im sure he will be able to off load your sunnyboy here in next to no time

Chippo - Both PV Sol and SMAs own software should be happy with that configuration, depending upon the panels being specified.
