Corsa about 6 years old now. Drivers seat belt warning sounds and the light comes on when cornering usually when turning right at roundabouts. The warning goes off is either the car is driving straight ahead or the buckle area is just touched !!! I have checked all the connections under the seat and at the buckle and have squirted WD 40 into the buckle hole.

Not familiar with this , but it does sound like the seat belt switch.
Some seats have sensors in . Not sure about this one.

As above. They usually have sensors fitted.
Can you get to the wires of the sensor and check for continuity? Try gently hitting the buckle and see if you get continuity then.

Have you read the DTC's to see if it is logging a problem some of these issues are down to failing wiring connectors. If you have a DTC it can make a search for the fault easier
It might be worth a call to Vauxhall customer care to see if it is a known problem that will be repaired FOC
Your profile doesn't indicate where you are based so it is difficult for me to offer further assistance reading the DTC's
