Hi customer wants his CU upgraded at present he has only 6 circuits and not much space so I am proposing an 8 way CU with 6 RCBOs and 2 spare ways. Can anyone recommend where I can get a CU that will take RCBOs and at a cost effective price (hes a skinflint:rolleyes:)

Thanks

Chris

Get a old split load board from your wholesaler, they`ll prob have one cheap, then pop rcbo`s on unprotected side, or you could pop a couple of normal mcbs on protected side, just a thought!
size of boards are norm 5+5 not to big

Wylex, loads of room in enclosure for RCBO's, however the only cheap way is to get some crappy chinese job off ebay.

As the saying goes "you cant have a good job cheap, you cant have a cheap job good".

Dont fit ****, tell him its good quality or walk away mate cos you know where he will come when the cheap rcbo dont trip and his missus gets fried in the shower.
