HELLO

Can someone tell me roughly how much i should expect to pay to rewire a 2 bed semi-detached?:

Hall, Lounge, kitchen, downstairs toilet, landing, bed 1 & 2 and bathroom?
House is a 1900.

How long's a piece of string.

Depends on a few factors including area.

A rough ballpark figure is £2,000 - £5,000 I would avoid anything cheaper if your after a good job

Depends on the extent of the installtion , think very carefully about what you would want with regards to socket outlets, lighting, ( L/Vs LEDs etc i would stay away from cfl's they can't even give em away now) Degree of protection Split RCDs or RCBO on every circuit
Shower etc
so in answer to question £ 1200 / £ 5500.00

You will only do this once ( in your current property think long term get right)

Big thingmate is access to the wiring runs, are the walsl solid- are the flloors boards or sheets of chipboards? - makes big differnece on the price - will the family be resident or away for the duration- if you got to put floors back down each night, well, that will cost you a couple of hours each day- loads things to consider . good luck mate .go for a middle range if you have not done one before, and learn from experience. l
