Hi Guys,

These maybe fairly obvious but interested in knowing the following.

How much ( in KW ) can a two phase system take? ( Family member researching in a 49kw system ). How many KWs is it before you have to go accross to two or three phase?

Also, saving electricity. How simple is it to store electricity in large batteries just as a small back up? What are the potential problems?

And what is the average wattage loss per meter?

Thanks

The first question doesnt make much sense.

The second question is better! Storing power in batteries is achievable, but the cost of batteries has shot up and they require regular maintenance plus space!

think he means how many kw is available on a single phase install. but, domestic or industrial? on a domestic it's 100A, whick is 23kW.

If you want to know the maximum size of pv generation you can connect to the grid without having to pay for reinforcement then the only way to be certain, above the standard G83 16A per phase, is to ask your DNO.
