After finding out I can't do the Nvq 3 because I don't have 2 years experience in the industry, things aren't looking bright. Next year, I am moving out of the country, so won't have time to complete the 2357. I have completed level 2&3 2330, also wouldn't be able to afford the like £4000 plus for the course. So now
I guess, I will see my career as an Electricians mate. I was planning to stay on if things improved and got a good job, but feel the U.K will not have enough growth for the next 5 to 10 years. Anyone else in the same situation?

I am really annoyed and feel all these changes with the courses have messed up a lot of people because finding permanent jobs is difficult due to the reccession. My plan now is to get a cscs card and find some temp work. I guess this is a venting my thoughts kinda thread

Why have you got to have 2 years experience to do the NVQ Level 3?

LOL make it up, and if they ask for references and phone numbers? Sound like a good idea..... I rang up xstraining.com and the guy was like oh we can't accept you cause you would have been industry for 2 years......

On their application form on the website it asks for work experience and current job, with their name and address.

Seriously someone give me ideas cause if i have too I will..... it never crossed my mind cause I am too honest o_0
