Hi there, after tomorrow I will have completed my 2330 level 2:D but I have a query about future qualifications that I would like opinions on.

Basically, once I complete the 2330 level 3 and the 2382 over the next college year, is it advisable to go straight in for the 2391 testing and inspection?

I ask this because I have no practical experience and by the time I finish the next few courses I can't see me getting much experience with the current jobs situation, unless I get lucky somehow.

I'm of the thinking that I should get some knowlegde of actually doing electrical work before I go for a course such as the 2391. Even though that getting the qualification could possibly increase my chances of getting a job.

Any help or opinions will be greatly appreciated:eek:

The 2391 has the highest failure rate of any of the electrical qualifications.

Included in that rate are also electricians with quite a bit of experience.

My advice would be to get as much on site experience as possible before going for the course/exam.
