Hi everyone I will be posting a lot of questions here in the next few hours I would really appreciate it if you can tell me most of the answers as I am not getting far searching on the internet.

1. Approximately how much of the conductor should be bare, ready for termination?

2.
In relation to a fused spur, what does ‘un-switched’ mean?

3.
How would you make sure t hat a system had been safely isolated?

4.
Give examples of the types of cable you are likely to find used in plumbing installations in a typical domestic dwelling.

5.
Give three examples of good practice when installing cable runs.

6.A switched fused-spur outlet is not suitable for:

a pump
b an immersion heater

c a central-heating programmer

d a macerator-type WC

7a.
If using a metal fused-spur outlet box, what must always be installed where the cable passes through the wall of the box?

b.What do yo u think is the reason for this?

A. As much copper so theres none showing once terminated. 2 an unswitched fused spur is an isolation point usually used in bathroom for downflows, fans, towel heaters etc. 3 test for voltage-isolate desired circuit-and re check to prove dead also check test lamps b4 and after on provin unit

sorry mate doin this on my phone and its going a bit mad. 5 cables cliped direct to joist. cables ran through joist with joist drilled out where no screws could damage cable. If joists are notched ensure to place metal plate 2 protect cable
