Hi, got an issue with a Crabtree Type 1 6A MCB, recently done a new install on a shop and all was fine with the mcb untill the last couple of days where it was tripping out all of a sudden.....any ideas why????

so let me get this clear.....you "did an install on a shop"...yet neglected in your responsibilities by not testing this before energising??...are you for real mate.....your the kind of "installer" that i just cant stand fella.....i dont want to know you anymore...goodbye...

Were all your Test Results good when you tested before Energising the system ? Have you done any testing now to try & isolate the fault ? Also as IQ said: How are you using a Type 1 MCB on a new install ?

Hmm: Just noticed your 2nd post where you said you were going to test this weekend has Dissapeared suddenly.
