Direct bank transfer is the way to go.
Been very wary of credit card payments since a mate lost a £300 phone to a scammer through ebay and paypal. I have sold very little on ebay since.
Buyer claimed the phone was an empty case and done a credit card chargeback through paypal. Consequently he lost the phone and then paypal siezed the payment and sent it back to the buyer as well. Buyer got a phone and his money back and a p*****d of seller/mate has now got neither.
Strange the way people will not give you their bank details but will happily give you a cheque with all the same details on.
