Cruel you don’t know the meaning of the word..... Yet!

This has just been posted, I’ve replied but I’m waiting for the others to join in.

My question to you is what would be your reply be. Keep it civil, the other lot won't.

"lap winding is classified into three types;what are they?what is the brush width used in motors having those windings?Please include with diagram"
 
I thought Lap and wave windings were used in DC generators? One for high voltage, low current the other for high current low voltage? Or am I going down the wrong path?

I did wonder, it does look quite textbook like.

Was I right though? Never really done much work with DC drives and generators, other than replacing them when they whent knackered or servicing the brush gear.
