CSCS Card or ECS Card?

Hey guys..

goodmorning to all...

Ive got to appear on site next week and was wondering if a CSCS card is suitable enough to help a fellow electrician out doing a second fix?
Or will i need the ECS card to be allowed on site?

Also, would it be possible to get it over the course of the next few days? Can it be done over the weekend?

Not sure about sites over there, but you have no chance of getting one quick. Mine just turned up yesterday, 8 weeks after being submitted. And it was came back with the right grade I think they may have an express service but you will pay big for this and have to visit them personally £££££££

if you can sit the test an electronic printout can be given straight away to prove you hold it until your card comes through.

ahh ok.. I didnt think that I would be able to get one in a hurry. My CSCS card took months to come through and you didnt even have to understand english to be able to pass the exam. :/

I take it that having a CSCS card that i dont really need an ECS card to work on site as an electrician? Id hate to travel and hour and a half to be told that i cant work on site without it..

Its abit of a joke really tbh
