cscs card

What is the exam like for applying for a cscs card?

just basic H&S questions. you'd be better off witrh the ecs card. info is on the eca website.

Cheers, ah I should of said its not electrical work I would use it for.
The only reason I ask is I went to Sainsburys to do some work on some doors and the security guard wouldnt let me on site unless I had a CSCS card.

Little hint for everyone - power stations dont accept CSCS cards. You have to have a different card - cant remember the name sorry

I wouldn't really call it an "exam", it's more of a 'quiz'.
It's easy; just remember a fire extinguisher is red, if you see something dangerous tell an adult, and if there is a fire go to the fire assembly point

Can anyone advise?
I've got a ECS card which states on the card "Card Expires June 2013", but also came across the JIB Certificate and it states
Date of Assessment Feb 04/02/2010
Certificate Expires 04/02/2012
2 Years
Does this mean I've got 14 months to renew/ re-sit another ECS exam.
