Just got a business phone call:

6.50pm today.

Total stranger.

Hi I would like you to come and remove the can of pop from my doorstep.

Sorry? Ehhhh?

Yes you delivered a leaflet through my door yesterday and left a can of pop on my doorstep and your the only person that would do such a thing

well suffice to say I don't even drink pop I was a little shocked that somebody would go to the expense of ringing somebody up because some kids had thrown some litter.

Where were you at **pm last night?

Do you have a reasonable alibi for the time stated by your accuser?

Did the caller offer incentives to turn up at her door to remove said bottle of pop ?

If you suspect that any of your answers might be Yes, then I suggest that it might be either your wife or an illicit lover leaving criptic clues.......

After a particularly rough day I'm just grabbing a bite to eat when I got one
Caller (in an asian accent) Your taxi is outside
Me No one here has ordered a taxi I think you have someone playing a prank, sorry mate
It went on like this back and forth for a few minutes
Caller (Getting irate) You ordered taxi you come out now and pay me for my time
Me How about I come outside drag you out of your car and tear your face off
Caller Ok you do that I'm right outside your front door.
So out I went and at the end of the road were my brother and his wife with his mobile at their ear
They didn't get a beer that night!
