Hi All,

Just quoting on board change for customer, looking at doing 13 way board, main switch, 10 RCBOs and 1 MCB, got prices through on Crabtree (my usual preference), Proteus (I always usually avoid!) and Curve which is a Denman's own make I believe.

Cost is significantly less on Curve against Crabtree as well as having more space at top to accommodate tall RCBOs.

Has anyone used them, I'd be interested to know if they're any good.

Cheers

Electrifix BG DUAL RCD 13 way ÂŁ50 + VAT at moment. Best around for the money.

Curve boards are good, loads of space, I have found they do need to be on a very flat surface or they twist easily but other than that they are good and for RCBOs they are definitely cheaper.
The PDs are control Gear direct also sold by WF as basics.

fantastic boards, all i've used over last 2 years really, 90 quid plus vat for a 14 way board and 8 rcbos and only 11 quid per additional rcbos

had 2 main switches on the early design overheat but never any problems since, so quick and easy can do a normal board change in under an hour with them comfortably

Proteus have just released a compact RCBO (same size as an MCB). Bags of room.
