Cyclists do the vast majority of provoking, and we all know how vulnerable they are, but they don't seem to! As for knocking them off, no driver will ever want to knock one off because they could well be killed, but cyclists do not do themselves any favours, and must shoulder a lot of responsibility for their utterly stupid actions sometimes, swinging out without looking being a prime example, as well as riding miles away from the kerb and riding at less than the speed limit while holding up traffic.

Where abouts in the highway code does it say they have to abide by any of this?

we may say that but most wouldnt actually knock them off.

if they get really absusive id rather use my fist, afterall you wouldnt start ranting and raving at someone in a pub on a friday and expect to keep your teeth or finish your drink


by provoking i mean idiot drivers by the way, some get really anoyed when you overtake them when they are doing 20, in a 30 for example

Would never deliberately drive into one to exact revenge, pulling in front and braking, maybe, but they would face the same action as anybody else would of they started screaming or whacking the car. I am far from a world beater but quite happy to have a go. Saying that, I've been annoyed plenty but never had any grief off any of them.

That is for all vehicles of the road, but also the pulling over section will only apply when it is safe to do so, not as soon as a vehicle is behind you.

Oh, ok, my points are invalid. What point was I trying to make when I mentioned cyclists being miles away from the kerb, and riding at under the speed limit? Because obviously you know what point I was trying to make, so why don't you tell us....
