hello fellas.
got a call the other day to price up a job, so i went round and the client wanted me to remove all electrical accessories from the meter cupboard wall as she is having the house damp proofed ie all render nocked back to bare brick and made good again. the accessories she wanted me to remove included the meter, service head and her cu. i am aware i am not allowed to touch anything belonging to the supply authority so i wondered what you guys would do in this situation as i know supply authorities can be a pain in the hoop. as you can see from the picture the supply cable and the service head will still be in the way even if all other accessories are removed. does anybody know the procedure that normally happens regarding the supply authority as the builders will need to access behind the meter position etc?

thanks for any advice as i havnt encountered something like this before..

as the job involves DNO equipment, it's down to the client to contact them for any work involving their equipment. if you were to attempt to even ease the board forward and damage the incoming supply cable, your feet wouldn't touch the floor. generally, in similar situations, i have found that the rendering has been done around the board, without disturbing it.
